Teen Says Rock Hill Robbery Suspects Threatened Him With Sword

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police are investigating two incidents related to a robbery that happened in Rock Hill on Monday.

Investigators say a 17-year-old victim claims that he was sitting in his room playing video games when approximately six guys busted through the front door of his residence on Annafrel Street, busted through his bedroom door and began to physically assault him.

The victim told police the suspects took his sword and threatened to use it on him.  The victim reportedly had redness on his neck from the assault.

The victim says the suspects stole numerous back packs, shoes, his sword and several other items before leaving the home, according to the arrest report.

Two of the accused suspects were taken into custody after police noticed them walking down North Confederate Avenue.  The victim positively identified the suspects as taking part in the crime, according to police.

Jonathan Page, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile are facing burglary and armed robbery charges.

Police say they were called back to the home approximately six hours later after a woman identified as Barbara Blake showed up at the home and confronted the robbery victim and his mother about the incident that happened earlier in the day.

The mother of the robbery victim told police she retrieved a bat from her vehicle to try and get Blake off her property and that is when Blake reportedly pulled a gun out of her purse and pointed it at robbery victim’s mother.

Blake left the scene but police lated located her and took her into custody.  She has been charged with pointing and presenting firearms at a person and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
