Charleston Church Shooting Suspect Indicted On Attempted Murder Charges

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The man accused of shooting and killing nine church members at a Charleston church has been indicted on three additional charges.

Officials say Dylann Roof was indicted on three attempted murder charges. Β These charges are related to the people who were inside the church and survived the attack.

Roof already faces nine counts of murder and one count of possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Roof is accused of shooting church members at Mother Emanuel AME Church on June 17th following a Bible study. Β
