Habitat for Humanity of York County to host house blessing with Cunningham Family

Rock Hill, SC – Habitat for Humanity of York County invites the community to join in a special House Blessing with the Cunningham Family on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 12:30 PM at 269 Bynum Avenue, Rock Hill, SC.

A House Blessing is a meaningful tradition where volunteers, supporters, and community members come together to offer blessings, well-wishes, and positive energy to a home as it is being built. It is an opportunity to celebrate the future homeowners and acknowledge the dedication of the volunteers working to make affordable homeownership a reality.

“The House Blessing is a powerful reminder that the homes we build together are more than just structures—they are safe havens filled with love, hope, and opportunity,” said Tim Veeck, Chief Executive Officer for Habitat for Humanity of York County. “We invite the community to join us in honoring the Cunningham Family and celebrating this significant step in their homeownership journey.”

The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to participate in this special moment of reflection and celebration. Habitat for Humanity of York County is dedicated to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership, working alongside families and community partners to create lasting change.
