KINGS MOUNTAIN, NC — Police are searching for the man they say shot two people at an apartment complex Thursday afternoon.
Police have issued warrants charging 24-year-old Justin Ford with two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent To Kill. Investigators say he is a black male with long dread locks with black tips. He was last seen driving a blue/gray Honda Accord, possibly a 2001, with tinted windows.
According to reports, the shooting happened around 1pm at the Kings Row Apartments on Kings Row Drive. Police say two victim’s, Trevon Mintz, 18, and Tracy Mintz Jr., 23, were shot in the incident.
Police say both victims were taken in a private vehicle to King’s Mountain Emergency Room, and then one was airlifted to CMC. Police did not say which victim was airlifted.
