Governor Cooper Confident PGA Will Come Back To Charlotte In The Future

CHARLOTTE, NC — Governor Roy Cooper says he is confident the PGA will work to come back to Charlotte in the future.

Cooper made his rounds at the championship Thursday talking with dozens of businesses about the success and economic impact the PGA is bringing to the Queen City. Cooper says these types of high profile events will attract more businesses and companies to invest in North Carolina.

Cooper says he believes the number one thing businesses look for is a well trained work force. The governor also said Rickie Fowler was his pick to win it all.
