Twitter Video Shows Flames Engulfing Roof Of Huntersville Home

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire that destroyed a home Friday.

According to officials, the fire broke out just before noon at a home on Prairie Rose Lane off of McIlwaine Road. A citizen posted a video to Twitter showing heavy flames engulfing the roof when crews arrived.

Officials say one dog was rescued from the home and is okay. No other injuries were reported.
