CHERRYVILLE, N.C. — Police say a Cherryville woman is facing charges after she smoked weed with a teenager.
Tommie Stewart, 59, is accused of smoking marijuana with a 13-year-old boy. The child’s mother took him to the police department after she realized he was high.
The police say they determined the child had smoked pot with Stewart at her home. Stewart was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Stewart is reportedly an acquaintance to the teen’s family.
Police say Stewart was just released from jail on August 1st for reportedly breaking into a woman’s home, biting her on the face while demanding the woman to give her cash and a cellphone. She was arrested on assault, breaking and entering and common law robbery charges in that case.
