CHESTER, SC – Neighbors in Chester were told to lock their doors and vehicles as deputies searched for an armed robbery suspect on Wednesday.
Chester County Sheriff’s Deputies were in the Belt Road area near Arby’s in Chester looking for a man who ran after an armed robbery at the DMV.
The Sheriff’s office is brought in its drone and bloodhound tracking team to help with the search. An update posted on social media just after 1pm said deputies had not found the man and that law enforcement will continue to patrol the area.
The only description deputies gave of the suspect is that he’s a black man with a goatee wearing a black hoodie.
Residents who see anything suspicious should call 911.
