CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The CMPD has arrested a teen suspected of multiple break-ins in the last two weeks after receiving a breaking and entering call from a homeowner hiding in a closet.
Damien Alexander Denny has been arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering into six different residences.

On Friday, August 18th 2017, at about 11:47 a.m., officers responded to a breaking and entering call in the 8800 block of Elkins Drive.
The caller stated the suspect was in her residence and that she was hiding in the closet.
Nearby officers responded and observed Denny running out the backdoor.
Denny was apprehended after a brief search. He is the suspect in the following break-ins:
2900 block of Little Stream Court
9200 block of Apple Pie Court
3000 block of Old House Circle
9800 block of Ashley Farm Drive
9300 block of Tibble Creek Way
8800 block of Elkins Park Drive
