Family Releases Funeral Arrangements For Man Killed During South Charlotte Armed Robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Funeral arrangements have been announced for Charlotte’s 60th homicide victim of 2017.

Family members say 25-year-old Josh Schulman died Monday after being shot early that morning on Outer Bridge Lane. Josh’s funeral is scheduled for 2pm Friday at Temple Israel on Providence Road. You can get more information on the funeral arrangements by clicking here.

Officers responded to the home after an Armed Robbery call around 3:15 am on August 21st. When they arrived, they found Josh and his father, 70-year-old Lawerne Schulman, with gunshot wounds.

Josh was taken to CMC with life threatening injuries. His father’s injuries are non-life threatening.

Detectives are still investigating and working to find witnesses to the incident.
