Discussion:
Today’s forecast looks great — dry, breezy and warmer with highs in the mid-50s to low 60s. Clouds will increase through the afternoon with winds out of the southwest, gusting up to 20 mph. Even warmer with Saturday with highs reaching the mid 70s under sunny skies. A weak clipper system could bring some spotty showers early Saturday to the mountains but not enough moisture to see the rain get further south. By Sunday, a developing low pressure system in the Gulf will spread rain into the southeast reaching as far north as the I-85 corridor. There’s still some uncertainty as to how far north the rain will reach, so keeping the showers, scattered with cloudy skies and cooler temperatures in the 50s. The low wil move off the southeast coast bringing some more showers south and east of I-85 Monday. Sunny, dry and pleasant Tuesday and Wednesday as highs soar near 80 by midweek. Late week another disturbance will bring more rain and the potential for a few stronger storms. Something to watch later in the week.
