CHARLOTTE, NC — The weekend is almost here, and there are plenty of things to do around Charlotte!

Uptown Crawl
Thursday, August 24
6pm – 9pm
This event is produced by Charlotte City Center Partners and allows you one night each month to discover the city’s culture, for free! The crawl features Uptown art galleries and museums with free trolley rides between each exhibit. It starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., and has free admission to galleries and museums along the Tryon Street corridor. The crawl is open to art lovers of all ages and attracts guests from all over the greater Charlotte region.
Charlotte Pride Festival & Parade
Saturday, August 26 – Sunday, August 27
12pm- 10pm (Saturday) 12pm- 6pm (Sunday) Sunday 1pm – 3pm (Parade)
There will be several performances throughout both days along with indoor and air-conditioned VIP lounges too!
Street closures are as follows:
Friday, August 25, 9:30 a.m.:
• Tryon Street from Levine Avenue of the Arts to Trade Street
• All cross streets will remain open
Saturday, August 26, 6 a.m.:
• Tryon Street between Stonewall and Trade Street
• All cross streets will close – Levine Avenue of the Arts, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, 3rd and
4th Streets
Streets will reopen Sunday, August 27, at 10:30 p.m.
Southern Women’s Show

The Southern Women’s Show returns to Charlotte August 25-27, 2017 and you’re invited to join in the
FUN! The event is jam-packed with cool jewelry and handbags, make-up tips and tricks, delicious gourmet treats and more. Besides the incredible shopping, you can enjoy runway fashion shows, cooking classes, and informed speakers. Grab your mom, sister, or best friend and spend the day – or weekend – doing everything you love!
Crossroads at First Ward Park
Friday, September 1 – Sunday, September 3
3pm – 8pm
Caroline Calouche & Co. (CC&Co.) is having a free three-day festival, “Crossroads,” to happen over Labor Day weekend. Leading up to each performance of “Crossroads” will be a variety of dance and fitness classes as well as pre-show performances. Food trucks and local breweries, including Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, will be there. Please click here for updates.
