A fine jewelry brand, surveyed over 2,000 Americans to find out how most people meet their partner. The results were then compared across states to see how different states are falling in love.
In North Carolina, love is most likely to spark through a mutual friend, making it the top way to meet “the one”—second only to chance encounters in unexpected places. Having a trusted connection seems to give North Carolinians the confidence to take that next step. Work takes the third spot, with 15%, dating apps followed closely behind at 8%. This leaves family introductions and parties as the fifth place way to find love at 7%.
