CONCORD, N.C. – The Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County is welcoming the community back for its 68th Annual Pancake Day next Thursday, March 20.
“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it’s such a special tradition for our community,” said Valerie Melton, Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County. “We love seeing so many familiar faces (and new ones, too!) come together to support the kids we serve. We’re hoping this might be our biggest Pancake Day yet—and that means even more support for our Afterschool and Summer programs.”
This year’s event is presented by SHOE SHOW, INC. and is on track to raise more than $100,000. The fundraiser goes towards the Club’s programs to keep them affordable and accessible for local families.
The event will be held from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are good for one serving. They can be purchased online at www.bgclubcab.org or at the Club. Kids 4 and under eat free.
