CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Mecklenburg County has lifted a water quality advisory for two ponds at McAlpine Creek Park off Monroe Road in Charlotte.
The advisory was issued after an unknown quantity of sewage discharged from a private facility into a stream that flows into the ponds on August 25th.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services Staff say tests showed bacteria levels in the water were within safe limits.
