Local Church Seeks Donations And Volunteers To Help Victims In Houston

CHARLOTTE, NC — As Houston continues to struggle with rising flood waters, Churches and organizations across the country are working to bring much needed supplies and volunteers to help with relief efforts.

Freedom House Church, a multi-site Church based in Charlotte, is partnering with local Churches in Houston to provide water, finances, and other resources needed to help those impacted by the storm. Items like water, clothing, blankets, pillows, hygiene products, etc. are most needed.

Organizers say monetary donations and gift cards to stores like Lowes, Home Depot, Target, and Walmart are also being accepted. 100% of all funds will be donated to relief efforts.
