Tractor-trailer catches fire on I-85

Crews worked for hours to clean up after a tractor trailer caught fire on I-85 in Rowan County.

This happened around 5 a.m. Saturday morning in the northbound lanes at mile marker 77 near Salisbury.

The truck was carrying toilet paper and paper towels.

There’s no word on what sparked the fire.

Several lanes were closed as crews worked to clear the roadway.
