One seriously hurt in shooting in west Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC –  One person is in the hospital after a shooting in west Charlotte early Thursday morning.

CMPD says they responded to an incident on Wilkinson Boulevard near Midland Avenue just after 5:30 a.m.

The person transported to the hospital suffered serious injuries.

No word on any suspects at this time.
