CHARLOTTE, NC – A man who was shot and killed in east Charlotte has been identified as 33-year-old John Ward.
CMPD says someone shot Ward just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday on Timber Hollow Drive near Central Avenue.
Police were called to the scene for reports of an assault. Officers found Ward on the ground with a gunshot wound.
There is no information on the shooter or any arrests in this case.
