Charlotte 49ers Set For Home Opener Against N.C. A&T
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte 49ers enter Saturday’s home opener against N.C. A&T at 0-2, but with the support of Niner Nation, the team hopes the home field advantage will propel them to victory.
Charlotte began the season with two tough road games against Eastern Michigan and Kansas State but the schedule should be more favorable as the season continues.
N.C. A&T is 2-0 following blow out victories over Gardner-Webb and Mars Hill. The Aggies have a strong program, which was recently home to running back Tarik Cohen, who looked impressive in his NFL debut as a member of the Chicago Bears.
Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m. at Jerry Richardson Stadium in Charlotte. You can watch the game locally on WCCB, Charlotte’s CW.
