Happy April Fools’ Day! No tricks with this forecast. Yesterday’s rain helped to finally wash away some of the pollen, thanks to a cold front that moved out overnight. High pressure will fill in today with highs reaching the low 70s under sunny skies. A southeast breeze will pull in more moisture so we’ll more clouds and isolated showers early on, but most of us will stay dry. Highs will reach the mid 70s by the afternoon with overnight lows staying mild in the low 60s. Spotty showers back in the foreast Thursday before temps take off into the low to mid 80s as a strong ridge builds over the southeast. We’ll be flirting with record highs Friday (87 – 1999) and Saturday (88 – 1942), as temps top out near 90! Rain chances will remain slim through Saturday, but a cold front will bring more rain and storms to the region by Sunday. Something worth watching, but as of now the severe threat looks more limited overall.
