Virginia third grader discharges gun inside school
FREDERICKSBURG, VA. – The parents of a Virginia third-grader are facing charges after their child brought a handgun to school.
Authorities say the weapon discharged during class on Monday, but no one was hurt.
It happened inside Lee Hill elementary school on Monday.
Deputies have charged the parents of that third grader with felony child neglect.
Investigators said the handgun was not locked up inside the house.
