One person is dead following a shooting Thursday at apartments on Wallace Road.
UPDATE:
CHARLOTTE, NC – A 19-year-old is locked up in the Mecklenburg County Jail, charged with the murder of 21-year-old Jeremiah Cunningham.
Detectives say Jamykel Blackmon shot Cunningham at the Wallace Woods Apartments on Wallace Road off Independence Boulevard on April 10th.
CMPD’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) and the CMPD SWAT Team arrested Blackmon today.
He is charged with first degree murder.

CHARLOTTE, NC – The victim of a deadly shooting in southeast Charlotte has been identified as 21-year-old Jeremiah Cunningham.
Someone shot Cunningham last Thursday at the Wallace Woods Apartments on Wallace Road off Independence Boulevard.
CMPD has not released any information on the shooter.

CHARLOTTE, NC – One person is dead following a shooting in southeast Charlotte.
Police were called to the Wallace Woods Apartments on Wallace Road off Independence Boulevard around 12:21pm on Thursday.
Medic says one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no information on the victim or the shooter.
