CHARLOTTE, NC – A man died early Monday morning after an SUV hit him in north Charlotte and kept going.
The accident happened around 1:21 am on Old Statesville Road.
Firefighters and paramedics found 53-year-old Terry Mitchell unresponsive on the right side of the road.
Police believe the driver of a 2017 to 2019 grey or charcoal Honda CRV hit Mitchell and kept driving.
Detectives are working to identify the SUV.
