Walmart remodeling 41 North Carolina stores

Walmart plans to remodel 41 of its stores across North Carolina in 2025.

North Carolina is among the top three states nationwide for Walmart store investments and remodels this year.

The new investments will be focused on enhancing the in-store shopping experience. This includes new displays, expanded departments with new items, expanded online pickup and delivery, and a better pharmacy with wider aisles and a private screening room and checkout area.

“Our stores often serve as the heartbeat of the communities we operate in, and these remodels are a testament to our dedication to enhancing that role,” said Annie Walker, Senior Vice President, East Business Unit at Walmart. “By investing in our stores and associates, we are not only improving the shopping experience but also reinforcing our commitment to being a vital part of the community’s fabric, helping to build a brighter future for all.”

Three of the stores being remodeled in North Carolina are in Charlotte. The stores are located at 9820 Callabridge Court, 8800 East W.T. Harris Boulevard, and 3850 East Independence Boulevard.
