UPDATE: Three adults and three juveniles are charged in the murder of a Lancaster woman

UPDATE:

LANCASTER, SC – Three adults and three juveniles are charged with the murder of a woman in Lancaster and a burglary at a convenience store.

Investigators say they used surveillance video and ballistic evidence to connect the suspects to the murder of 40-year-old Larisha Thompson on May 2, 2025.

Deputies found Thompson dead inside her car on Riverside Road.

A forensic examiner with the State Law Enforcement Division says evidence shows 21-year-old Asael Aminadas Torres-Chirinos fired the gun used in Thompson’s murder and also fired a shot during a burglary on April 30th at the Van Wyck Mart on Rock Hill Highway.

Torres-Chirinos, 18-year-old Jarby Ardon Ramos-Odari, and 17-year-old Jeyson Sobied Pineda-Salgado are all charged murder, attempted armed robbery, and burglary second degree.

Torres-Chirinos is believed to have fired the pistol during both incidents.  He is also charged with two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and one count of possession of a firearm by an unlawful alien.  Bond was denied for all three, and they remain in the detention center.

The three juveniles are charged on Department of Juvenile Justice petitions with murder, attempted armed robbery, and burglary second degree.

One is 15 years old, another is 14, and the third is 13.
