CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 66 year old female subject who suffers from cognitive issues.
The incident was reported in the 6100 block of Balsam Fir Drive in the Independence Division. The call for service came in at 6:28 p.m., on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.
Officers in the Independence Division responded to a call in reference to a 66 year old missing female. The reporting person stated that Elizabeth Sinclair Smith walked out of her residence in the 6100 block of Balsam Fir Drive between 4:30 p.m and 6:00 p.m. Wednesday. Ms. Smith has been diagnosed with a known cognitive issue and may be lost in the area.
Smith was last seen wearing a blue shirt, unknown color pants, grey Nike sneakers. She has her hair pulled back in a ponytail and is walking with a black push walker.
