The remnants of Hurricane Nate come into play Sunday. The good news for the Bank of America 500 is that the worst of the rain should be to the west and later in the day. Hopefully, a full 500 is raced. Highs land at about 80° tomorrow with a 60% chance for late afternoon/evening rain. That rain carries over into Monday morning with winds gusting up to 35 mph in Charlotte too. It could mean some downed trees, limbs or power lines on your Monday morning commute. We’ll keep some rain chances around all the way through Friday before drying out in time for next Saturday. Expect highs to stay in the 80s with the exception of Thursday and Friday.
Tonight: Overcast, patchy fog, a few Showers. Low 70°.
Sunday: Cloudy, 60% rain chance. High 80°.
Sunday Night: Showers, with gusty winds up to 30 mph. Low 72°.
Monday: Rain and wind early. High 82°.
