HICKORY, N.C. — An after school daycare employee is facing serious charges after investigators say he punched a 9-year-old in the face.
Crawford Lionel Ellis, 49, was charged with assault on a child under 12. He was arrested on October 9th. He was released on a written promise to appear in court on November 1st. No other details w were released in the case.
