CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say Wilkinson Boulevard is shut down in both directions between Stafford Drive and North Josh Birmingham Parkway through rush hour due to a natural gas leak.
The road is expected to reopen around 6pm.Β Please use alternate routes at this time.Β Alternate routes include I-85 and Old Dowd Road.
Officials say drivers can turn right on Stafford Dr,turn left on Scott Futrell Dr, turn left onto Josh Birmingham Pkwy and turn right onto US-74 East as an alternate route.
