2 Charged In Salisbury Drug Investigation
SALISBURY, NC — Police have charged two suspects after they seized trafficking amounts of heroin and cocaine during a search Wednesday.
Police say they searched a home on N. Shaver Street as part of a narcotics investigation and found 387 grams of cocaine valued at $25,000, 10 grams of grey death heroin valued at $2,000, 46 grams of marijuana valued at $200, and three handguns. Officials say one of those guns was also reported stolen.
The home’s residents, Christopher Erwin and Domonick Wheeler, were both charged with Trafficking Heroin, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling for Purpose of Drug Sales and Continuing Criminal Enterprise. Police say Erwin was also charged with Possession of a Firearm by Felon.
