Three charged after police break up meth trafficking ring in Gaston Co.

GASTON CO., NC – Police say they have broken up a major meth trafficking operation in Gaston County.

Gaston County Police say they arrested 49-year-old Johnny Ray Lynn Jr., 24-year-old Bridgette Lynn, and 51-year-old Donnie Wallace.

All three live in the Cherryville area.

The trio face more than 30 charges, including trafficking by possession, trafficking by transport, trafficking by manufacture, and maintaining vehicle/dwelling for trafficking.

The arrests came after a months-long investigation involving multiple agencies, including Homeland Security.

Law enforcement say they seized more than 2,300 grams of meth and eight firearms.

Johnny Ray Lynn Jr. is being held with no bond at the Gaston County Jail. Donnie Wallace and Bridgette Lynn are being held with no bond at the Cleveland County Jail.
