Gardner-Webb Grad Continues To Recover After Being Shot During Las Vegas Massacre
CHARLOTTE, NC — A woman who graduated from Gardner-Webb University is continuing to recover after being critically injured in the mass shooting in Las Vegas.
Tina Frost, 27, is now at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore after being shot in the face during the attack. Frost woke up from a coma on Friday and took her first steps since being injured. Family members also say she recently started breathing on her own again.
Frost lost her right eye in the shooting, which was replaced by an implant during her first surgery.
