Police Arrest Suspect Wanted For Burglarizing Moose Pharmacy Tuesday Morning

SALISBURY, NC — The man wanted for burglarizing Moose Pharmacy early Tuesday morning has been arrested.

35-year-old Shawn Hager was identified as the suspect, officials say, and located at his home on N. Main Street in Faith, NC. He is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny, Injury to Real Property, and Discharging a Weapon in the City Limits.

Police say around 7:48 this morning, witnesses reported a man with a gun at the W. Innes Street pharmacy. They told police that the suspect, later identified as Hager, shot the front glass out and went inside. Hager then left in a green van with pharmacy products he had taken from inside the store, according to reports.

Police say the pharmacy was closed at the time of the robbery and no one was inside the building.
