The world’s largest retailer is bringing drone delivery to Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC – People in Charlotte will soon be able to get groceries and other items delivered faster.

Walmart announced on Thursday that it is expanding its drone delivery service to five more cities, including Charlotte.

The world’s largest retailer launched drone delivery in 2021 in Arkansas and Texas.

Walmart partnered with drone delivery provider Wing, and offers thousands of products delivered in 30 minutes or less.

Customers in Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston, Orlando and Tampa can sign up on Wing’s website to be notified when drone delivery becomes available.
