After a weekend for the story to marinate, everybody’s sounding off about Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s racist comments. The remarks happened during an argument with Sterling’s girlfriend, who happens to be half black and half Latino, over her posting pictures of “certain people” on Instagram. Certain people who are black. All of it caught on a voice recording that came out Friday. Since then, league players have protested, and the team has lost some sponsors.
So should the league boot Sterling for his comments? Or let him say what he wants?
