CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man is dead following a single car accident on Billy Graham Parkway Sunday Morning.
The CMPD says Crawford Junior Deveaux, 42, died after the vehicle he was driving ran off the road and hit a tree, ejecting Devereaux from the vehicle.
The accident occurred at about 1:06 a.m., on Billy Graham Parkway near Westmont Drive.
Devereaux was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt and speed was contributing factor in the wreck.
Investigators do not know if alcohol contributed to the accident.
The crash is still under investigation.
