Missing 74-Year-Old Lincoln County Man Found In Upstate South Carolina

Officials say Larry Freeze was found around 9:45pm in Spartanburg, SC and will possibly be taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

LINCOLNTON, NC — Deputies need help finding a missing 74-year-old man.

Larry Freeze, of Denver, was last seen around 12:30pm in the Sherrill’s Ford area of Catawba County. Officials say family members spoke with Freeze around 4pm, and he said he was returning home from an area east of Mooresville, NC.

Officials say the family believes Mr. Freeze may have gotten his medications switched around and became confused and lost. His cell phone has been cutoff, and investigators say it last pinged in Inman, SC around 7:15pm.

He is described as a white male, 6’1″, gray hair, and blue eyes. Officials say he is driving a red Ford Ranger pickup with NC license plate number DBR-9135.
