A driver died early Thursday morning after losing control of their vehicle and overturning in York County, South Carolina, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened just after 3:30 a.m. on Hord Road near Sharon, South Carolina.
The driver was traveling east on Hord Road in a Ford SUV when they traveled off the right side of the road, struck a ditch, and overturned, authorities said.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver was the sole occupant in the car and died as a result of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
