3 Charlotte men accused of stealing more than $5 million in luxury cars

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Three Charlotte men are facing federal charges for conspiring to steal dozens of high-end cars. The Department of Justice says 24-year-olds Aquanzae Switzer and Antwone Banks, along with 26-year-old Trajan Mack, are facing multiple counts after targeting multiple dealerships here in the Carolinas and other southern states.

Prosecutors say the men would use high-tech key fob spoofing devices to take the cars at night.

In total, their crimes are said to amount to well over $5 million of stolen luxury cars.
