Officers out in force this holiday weekend on NC waterways

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission’s “Operation Dry Water” is not.

Officers will continue increased enforcement of boating laws out on the water through the July 4th weekend. They will especially be looking for drunk and reckless drivers.

Last year, boating accidents resulted in 15 deaths across the state.
