1 dead, 1 charged with DWI after deadly crash in Hickory
HICKORY, N.C. – We are learning about a deadly crash in Hickory. It happened Thursday night around 11:40.
Hickory Police say two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Highway 321 and Clement Boulevard. One of the drivers, 26-year-old Jeana Rose Foster, died. Three children in the vehicle with her were hurt.
Two of the children were hospitalized while third was released, officials said.
The driver of the other vehicle, 55-year-old Scott Alan Lail, is charged with DWI and felony death by vehicle.
Police said Lail entered the intersection under a red light.
