2nd person dies after triple shooting in Uptown Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A second person has now died after a triple shooting in Uptown. 27-year-old Gabriel Lee and 18-year-old Colby Smith were killed.

Police say it happened on North Caldwell Street near the Spectrum Center around 1:30 Saturday morning. Medic pronounced the 27-year-old Lee dead at the scene. Smith died later, and 23-year-old Dematrius Smith was hospitalized.

Right now, there’s still no word on any suspects or arrests.
