CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person is dead following a wreck early Sunday morning in south Charlotte.
The accident occurred shortly before 3 a.m., on I-485 near South Boulevard.
It is unclear how many vehicles were involved but the CMPD says the fatality was a result of a collision and multiple lanes were shut down for a few hours.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
