CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police need your help identifying an accused robbery suspect in north Charlotte.
Investigators say the suspect entered the Super 8 motel on Equipment Drive just after 5am on November 10th and tried to exchange a counterfeit $100 bill. When the clerk refused, police say the suspect attempted to take money from her hand and then took the cash drawer from her.
After obtaining money, the suspect fled the scene. Police say the suspect is described as a black male, 6’3″ tall, 200lbs, with a heavyset build and was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans.
