Teen Brothers Arrested For Southeast Charlotte Robberies
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – – Two teenage brothers have been arrested in connection with two robberies in southeast Charlotte.
Police say on October 29, 2017, a suspect wearing a white mask entered a residence in the 8400 block of Milton Morris Drive with a handgun and told everyone inside to get on the ground. The resident said the suspect robbed everyone in the house and hit the resident in the face with the butt of the gun. The suspect also fired a shot into the ceiling before fleeing the scene.
On November 14, 2017, the same victim told officers that a known suspect took property without permission by force at his residence in the 8400 block of Milton Morris Drive.
An investigation led police to identify Jeconiah Davidson, 18, as the suspect in the November 14 incident and his brother Jer’Michael Davidson,19, as the suspect in the October 29 robbery.
On November 15, 2017, CMPD detectives detained both suspects at their residence in the 8300 block of David Lee Lane.
Property from the victims was located on one of the suspects as well as in the residence. Police also found 100 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a stolen handgun.
Jer’Michael Davidson has been charged with Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, 1st Degree Burglary, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Felony Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.
Jeconiah Davidson has been charged with Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, 1st Degree Burglary and Common Law Robbery.
