CHARLOTTE, NC– On Tuesday, police say they received a call of a suspicious package on the sidewalk of Harri Ann Drive.
CMPD deployed the bomb squad and emergency units to the scene and as a precaution residents were told to stay inside their homes.
Authorities also shut down Lawyers Road.
The bomb squad was reportedly able to render the item safe and detectives with CMPD are looking further into the origin of the package.
