“Code of Silence,” star talks about her unique role and advocacy for the deaf community
CHARLOTTE, NC – The two episode premiere of the crime thriller, “Code of Silence,” is now available on Britbox.
Rose Ayling-Ellis is one of the stars of the show which portrays Alison, a deaf catering worker who is unexpectedly recruited by the police department to lip read the conversations of local criminals.
The show takes a turn when Alison starts forming a deeper connection with one of the men she’s supposed to be collecting information on.
Ayling-Ellis says being part of the deaf community in real life makes this the perfect role for her.
