CHARLOTTE, NC – A crash closed part of I-85 north at the Mecklenburg/Gaston County line Thursday afternoon.
The NC DOT says the crash happened around 12:20 p.m. near Exit 29 for Same Wilson Road.
The road reopened just before 3 p.m.
There’s no information on what caused the crash or if there were any injuries.
Drivers were told to take Exit 27 (NC273), then turn left on US 29/US 74 East, and left on Sam Wilson Rd to I-85 North as an alternate route.
