Suspect Wanted After An Attempted Armed Robbery In West Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are looking for the man they say tried rob a Rite Aid at gunpoint in west Charlotte Wednesday afternoon.

The robbery happened around 12:26pm at the Rite Aid on Freedom Drive. Police say the man implied that he had a gun during the attempted robbery, but left the store without taking anything. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 20’s, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
